If the cars are rocking, it’s because people are dancing as the City National Grove of Anaheim’s Drive-In OC ramps up its live music calendar with the House Music Series.

Electronic music veteran Green Velvet will perform Dec. 11 and Claude VonStroke will appear on Dec. 29 at the venue at 2200 E. Katella Ave.

Tickets are $250-$500 per vehicle and go on sale at noon Nov. 25 via AXS.com. A maximum of five people per car will be allowed for the 6 p.m. shows.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Green Velvet is known songs such as  “Bigger than Prince,” “Flash,” “La La Land,” “Lazer Beams” and the pandemic appropriate “Live Stream.”

And while he made his name as a DJ spinning at festivals and on his own tours, Claude VonStroke started the Dirtybird record label in 2005.

Tickets for the event must be purchased in advance and there will be no on-site box office. Cars are spaced 10 feet apart and people can use the empty adjacent spot to set up folding chairs and blankets. Masks are required whenever people leave their designated parking spots.
